Southern Shiters - Car Show at Gunwharf Quays TODAY

I know modern exotics aren't necessarily our bag, but I've just been woken up by dozens of very exotic sports cars arriving at Gunwharf Quays for some kind of show (they did similar with old police cars last year).

 

Could be a good way to pass an hour or two if anyone's interested.

 

Let me know if you're going as it would be good to put faces to names

We need a few mad lottery winners to bid shitloads on all the base model Fords and see how quickly these "AVO" ones turn magically back into their origins.....In any case to me that Miura is still a supercar beyond much else as far as I am concerned.  Never get bored of seeing that shape....

Excellent work Cheggers - sadly there is no chance of me making it down there today as my 'weekend' has been condensed into one day this week so all the 'luxury' things I get to do which are normally spread over 48 hours are instead squished into 12.

They're promoting a fundraising European Tour for SSAFA - The antithesis of a banger rally. I've already provisionally put my name down for 2018

 

Cracking work identifying the Ultima, I had to find a badge to know what it was. I know ANCAS and "Aldi's" are the work of the devil, but there's a lad with an R8 spitting flames out of the exhaust for a small donation...sounds epic!!

Gunwharf... if you stroll around the docks from around the Spice Island Inn heading towards Spinnaker tower, along one of the streets there is a house with some shite outside. A Ford sidevalve Anglia IIRC.
