Wind'leys Scrapyard 10/4/16

I took a jaunt over to the scrappy yesterday to get some bits for my Jumbuck,

 

I spotted up a few bits that may interest resident chod botherers too;

 

Tipo 1.4 (well stripped inside)

 

 

Zx TD Volcane, BX & Visa

 

Fiat Fiorino (I think)

 

There was also a wheelchair version of this in the yard, looking like a fairly recent arrival, as well as a Toyota Hi Ace.

 

I went for some parts for the truck, wandered the entire yard and after ending up nearly in the next county, I found a rather down at heel Persona, which was a special edition with every dealer option part fitted, as a result my truck has a new indicator, headlamp protectors and Proton mats.

 

Whilst I was heading towards the exit, I spotted a Satria Sport hidden amongst the Japanese section, I relieved it of it's sporty gearknob and am considering having the front seats from it too.

 

I must confess I added the towing eye cover from the Satira to sell on and hopefully make my haul nearly free.

Looking at the Fiorino pick-up, did Sergeant Bo11ox ever get the headlamp/indicator/whateverheneeded for his one?

No, but it passed without so I can't be arsed..

Could use the gearbox linkages though, cos my muppet mechanic has made a total Horlicks of mine

We'll continue to try and work out what he's done! It's only 3 rods and a couple of pivots, fer christs sake!

What engine is in yours Nigel, I don't want to be getting the wrong ones!

 

Faker; sorry I didn't look that closely at the Visa, I was having a sense of humour failure because I hadn't found any Protons at that point!
