have given the wheelarches quick sand down than slapped on some leftover silver hammerite,not abad match,ha ha,the last owner worked for post office,kept servicing every 5000 miles,with engine flush,fresh oil filters,must have cost a bob or two,with the amount of bills,bought a cheap dash cam on carboot this morning £5.99 just hope the fag lighter works, left the doors open,no one nicked it..

right not much done today,removed lower arm,balljoint was knacked,bought a cheapie from eurocarparts yesterday £3.21,had to grind through the rivits on the arm,than bolt this one in place,noticed the other side had a split inner cv boot,save time got split boot joobie where you glue them together...sticks well,went to mates garage to get free radio/cd player,panasonic,rear heated window element not stuck to glass,will try glue it,received new thermostast old one was stuck,first minor problem removed thermo cover,sodding bolt snapped in housing,had to remove all housing,than drill through housing,managed to find longish nut bolt,fiddly as .. not much room,but now all fine no leaks,used asda summer/antifreeze coolant 2litres for £1.25.been underneath built like the forth bridge,no rot,fuel,brake pipes coverd in grease,they will never rot.. still need a spare wheel...
