306 derv. Not a horsebox.

My old man has recently given up driving, this has left me with a 306 sized problem. A car that I need to get rid of.

This is not yet a fore shale thread, but it could turn into one.

Today's task was getting the little fucker running again.

A little bit of exploration found there was no fuel in the filter housing which led to today's big discovery. There is a primer on this fucker!

So, after a few minutes of hard furious pumping, I had derv and a running engine.

If I had known about this appendage last week I wouldn't have flattened the battery trying to get it started.

This is where this gem crops up

After what felt like ten minutes of cranking it was still going strong. I highly recommend getting one if you have the means, not only does it start you car, it provides a light and power if you are camping, a shitefest essential?

Engine shot to finish with

Is that a Bosch pump?

I reckon you might have a fight raffle on your hands for this, any test left on it?

Test until 31st August.

Is it nice? It's ok... It's straight, clean inside, few grazes on the corners and some lacquer peel.

It has a new battery and a kenwood head unit as the original died many moons ago.

Bad points, the brakes are aren't great, probably glazed from a lack of proper use, sandpaper may restore stopping performance.

I think it's had a cam belt in the last few years but no receipts to back this up.

Seconded, the Picasso needs the sparkle fairies to fix the sill, parts for the cabrio are AWOL and the Ax is out of test.
