Luckily it appears solid with just some surface rust. Will get cleaned up, treated and waxed the hell out of.

That cam pulley thing looks interesting. will google tomorrow and see about getting one.

Well the drum mike has just been sold and collected so the Suzuki now owes me £220!

Managed to find an offside wing for a tenner on ebay now on the search for a nearside one.

Well the little Suzuki is providing sterling service. Thanks to the generosity of Vantman I now how a replacement front wing in the correct colour to replace the offside one. The hunt continues for a decent nearside one and bumpers at the right price. A mirror has been purchased of ebay to replace the damaged offside one, and has tidied up that side immensely. Finally in total disregard of finances a whole £9 was lashed out at eurocarparts for a set of suitable tacky wheel trims that has made it look slightly better*.  The little Suzuki has been earning its keep doing tip runs with stuff I didn't want to put in the Punto. At this rate I'll have saved myself the price of a skip! New brake pads are waiting to be fitted, I'll probably change the wing and pads at the same time.

Looking resplendent in the sunshine.

... they really are a 'mower powered wheelbarrow'.... and non the fuc*ing worse for that.

Mine was 'KarpetKrush mode' 24/7 and at that time I was self employed - installing paypoint terminals, all over the place - and sometimes I had boxes piled up and 'lost' the gearstick on whooshy stretches.... lolz

good to see it working out

Had the little jet washer out today doing gardening jobs around the garden and couldn't resist pointing it at the engine to remove 16 years of grime. Amazingly it started straight up after its soaking. Looks a little better considering only water was used.

I might have to try that. Mines is filthy as Kunt and the Gangs  - greatest hits

I've ordered some tfr so hopefully it might come up even better soon. Hopefully the weather will warm up some more soon and I can get on with servicing it and changing the wing.
