scaryoldcortina Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Well, if we are offering ones that are well out of your way, I've got one here. I'm somewhere between Durham and Newcastle.. vulgalour and The Moog 2
Inspector Morose Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Think I might have a couple of gutter fit for the CX. They're in Birmingham ish. eddyramrod 1
Eddie Honda Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 I've got a pair here, but they're 30 miles past Dublin. Halfords round the corner? 405U value bars. http://www.halfords.com/motoring/roof-bars-roof-boxes/roof-bars-fittings/halfords-value-cross-roof-bars-405-pack-of-2 They say "With the Halfords Value Cross Roof Bars 405, you must purchase the appropriate fitting kit and footpack." But that's at odds with the pictures. I have a pair of Halfords 405U value bars and I never had to buy anything extra for my guttered cars. (It's probably a load of arse covering cock because 99% of folk now have cars without tradition gutters.) Get on ebay/gumtree and look for Mont Blanc / Paddy Hopkirk / Halfords 405U. Must be loads floating around for an Ayrton. The Moog 1

Pegasus79 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I have a set of Paddy Hopkirk clamp type in the garage - you are welcome to them as no use to me. Can meet you near Manchester (I am located in Chorley) Matt
Eddie Honda Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 @hairnet. Are you going to make clamp plates and rubber feet for that Paddy Hopkirk thing?
hairnet Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 is the silver bit not part of the clamp?
Pegasus79 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 @hairnet. Are you going to make clamp plates and rubber feet for that Paddy Hopkirk thing? The clamp plate is the D shaped part with the silver bolt through it. All that is missing is some rubber strips under the rear locators.. They are free, so they come as you see
Station Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Sorry hairnet, did you get this sorted? Mine has old school wooden slats (as I've said before).
