But that's at odds with the pictures. I have a pair of Halfords 405U value bars and I never had to buy anything extra for my guttered cars. (It's probably a load of arse covering cock because 99% of folk now have cars without tradition gutters.)

 

Get on ebay/gumtree and look for Mont Blanc / Paddy Hopkirk / Halfords 405U. Must be loads floating around for an Ayrton.

The clamp plate is the D shaped part with the silver bolt through it. All that is missing is some rubber strips under the rear locators.. They are free, so they come as you see
