bub2006 Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Just to clarify I wasn't offering 40,I was just saying that's the most I was offered scrap wise in derby. Its worth more yes but not to a scrap man. I've got this issue myself as I'm losing my storage for Vectra.
Cavcraft Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 I'm half tempted by this meself now I've seen it!!! Can someone else buy it and get the problem off my desk plz. No, because I'm in the same boat.
Ian_Fearn Posted February 20, 2016 Author Posted February 20, 2016 All PMs replied to now lads. Everyone is asking the same question.... Will it get to X without catastrophic Rover K Series style meltdown. Sorry, i just don't know. The night it overheated i'd have said no but i've since done 100 miles without it doing anything stupid so it could: A. have a leak that i don't know about (the low coolant light is ALWAYS on, classic Omega problem and i've been too busy to check it!)B. have major HGFC. Be the oil coolerD. be some random simple faultE. be some some other random absolutely catastrophic failure. Bollox, can deliver it to work on tuesday for you. Bring your 760 Volvo and i'll hand you MONEY, give you the Omega and take the Volvo! Cavcraft, Lacquer Peel and The Moog 3
Pegasus79 Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Hi Ian, have replied to your PM, all good with me if you can sort. Matt
New POD Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Looks alright this. If I was selling an old motor for £100, id loudly tell anyone offering 40 (or 70) to FOAD btw. If £100 is too expensive for you, I am not interested in dealing with you. I don't need a car, so my entirely NOT that serious offer of £40 was the max that would tempt me to buy a car that I don't need that will need work to stop the coolant mixing with the oil.
Ian_Fearn Posted February 21, 2016 Author Posted February 21, 2016 Bollox, have you got any spare cars for sale? Didn't you have a nice little 205 diesel?
