D Spares & Tyres Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I know about that don't worry, been hacking off solonoid security cages for a few years now ☺ explosive-cabbage 1
Lankytim Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Just stick the head on from the scrap auto ZX and off you go, or swap the cam and bearing caps over. explosive-cabbage 1
D Spares & Tyres Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I will say yes to both these cars but may take a few weeks to do both if that is OK. I'm quite busy at the moment but it will give me something to do around Xmas. I hate Xmas and trundling around Wales with my own music on with no in laws and some old Citroens on the trailer sounds like bliss ☺ Can tell the Mrs I'm working.... explosive-cabbage 1
Six-cylinder Posted December 3, 2015 Author Posted December 3, 2015 That's good. I should point out my in-laws are up a narrow lane across a ford. So you won't be able to collect it during a very wet period or get anything bigger up to the house than a Tesco home delivery van. I will PM you the details in a day or two.
D Spares & Tyres Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Thank you. I have a Shogun with a large trailer and a decent winch so should be no problem even if I have to unhitch trailer and tow them out ☺ KruJoe and explosive-cabbage 2

explosive-cabbage Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 There is room to work a Shogun and trailer just fine but the river sometimes runs so fast and high it would sweep a Shogan away! Excited already. Hope there is pics to follow!
D Spares & Tyres Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 What I would expect to happen is to arrive torrential rain but the river to still be OK for crossing but during the loading up period the river would gain momentum and trap me in for a few weeks....
