Saw this earlier, and couldn't help thinking most people would have forgotten* about the clocking and the welding needed.

The Clocking:

I bought it with 104k miles on the clock in Feb 2013.

Then I found the handbook, which included a FSH up to 2005, when it had done 148k!

I estimate, it lost around 55k (in two steps) on the odometer in 2005/6

That goes to show how good these engines are!

What certainly is a bad point: I tried to open the nearside rear door today and the handle split before it came open, it opens ok from the inside. That is not an issue, if you have no friends like me.

 

Brilliant.
