I have been reading the posts on here since about 2006. Since starting a sales job, I am spotting plenty of cars that should be of some interest to you. Here are 2 to start off: A Renault 12 spotted in Rotherham, and a MK2 Astra spotted in Colne.

My fleet consists of a Renault Vel Satis 2 litre Petrol Turbo with 238,000 on the clock (a record, surely). Soon to be sold, looking for £500ish. Funds to go towards rehousing a Parisian Renault 20tx in Yorkshire, end of November time. Any interest on here do you think?

I had an argument with myself on here once about R12s with Mk2 rear ends and Mk1 grilles. I came to the conclusion they were a figment of my imagination, but your first couple of photos suggest I should invite myself out to the car park and have another word.

 

Please post photos of the R20. Be prepared for a degree of excitement being stirred.

Hi Mouseflakes, I spoke to you way back about your 30TS. What's happened to it? Seems to have been off the road for yonks and bonks - update please?

The R20 purchase depends upon selling this Vel Satis - can't afford it otherwise 😆

Still is - and not in the best place. Good news is, I now have a garage (albeit full of junk for the time being). It was nearly back on the road just before we moved house - sadly it'll be a few steps back from that when I next get to tackle it.

Thats a shame, it's a hell of a fine motor from what I recall. You were having some troubles with your children's health when we spoke, and you were thinking of selling even then. Hope you're finding life a little better these days.
