To me,the RS 200 was the best looking Group B car,but nothing sounds quite like a 6R4 8)

bothered?

If I was to take a wild stab in the dark with my hands tied behind my back & the knife between my teeth and I'd used up all my options; phone a friend, ask the audience & 50:50, I would have to go with.....'no'

85 large! Surely nobodys gonna pay that for a metro, unless that includes a huge chunk of dead celeb tax. would be interesting to see what it would go for listed at 99p no reserve like.

If you put that under the hammer at an 'autosport' themed proper auction you'de see that price easily I think.

didn't the engine in the 6R4 end up in the Jag XJ220?

Pretty much. So if you meet an XJ200 owner, you can annoy him by pointing out that his enormous car has a Metro engine - and Rover 200 rear lights!

I remember the horrific accidents (Henri Toivonen Lancia S4 and the RS200 ploughing into spectators) that ended Group B cars, but I found some tantalising glimpses of what could have been:

Peugeot 305 V6 - I supect that the 205 T16 won favour over this V6 305.

Lada VFTS, I think it was homologated too late to compete.

Tell us more about that 305, it even trumps the all alloy 504 in the reims museum!
