MGZs 110 + Kettle expert needed

Spotted an 05 plate one that looks mint, reported as losing water ! obviously I'm aware of the OMFGHGF but recall there being another issue that can lead to water loss around the inlet fannymold, anyone able to enlighten me ? or a sure fire..ish way of diagnosing the HGF without a compression test ?

The Saab valves fail, which can CAUSE hgf. Not sure if that's any help though.

Is it a K Series?  - Yes/No YES ----> You have Head Gasket Failure

Don't listen to them....

 

If it's losing water, runs lumpy from a cold start and steam from the exhaust, CHANGE THE INLET MANIFOLD GASKET. specifically No. 4 port, although the gasket is 1 piece. Green rubber gasket costs less than a fiver and easy to fit if you have a socket set.
