Poor cunto, the hammer through the air box looks pretty funny though. Bet it was satisfying smashing it up!

Made me laugh when I saw it but its pretty moronic

I wonder if I stick a notice on this A1 saying 'NO ROAD TAX, COME AND GET IT COPPA' the authorities will do the decent thing :)

Would have been funnier if he'd just left the ball and chain in the road for them.

Seems a waste of a perfectly good car.

I'm cynical enough to think though no tax = no insurance

If scrap is £30 a ton, it's surely more expensive to take an untaxed car, if it's shit.

Yay, Simmo's back!

Would the owner not still have to pay the fine, though?

Is it bad that I'm sure I can imagine the type of person that owned this car?

It is a waste, I know a Punto is not everyone's idea of a decent car but with some decent maintenance, I'm sure that car would have given another few years of cheap motoring.

There's a geezer near my workplace that operates like this.  He never taxes or MoTs any vehicle he has.  He totally neglects them to the point of driving around with a flat tyre (I kid you not) and seems to have thus far avoided any police/ DVSA intervention.

When the abused car finally gives up, he just abandons it and moves on to the next victim, letting the taxpayer clear away the mess.  In other words, he's a complete tosser.

Or it could mean you've paid up but someone in DVLA has ticked a wrong box. Unless you check online daily you have no way of knowing that your car is still taxed until you look out of the window and it's not there.
