These lines, joining Ncl - Carlisle current route, must be the old north riverside route 🤔.

The back wall/tin cladding of the Vickers Apprentice training school was butting this line.... A dog was blatted by a passing train and the carcass laid against the wall = we had a plague of maggots & flies [1974]

We used to walk across the remains of that bridge using horizontal ladders when I was a kid. Fuck knows how nobody died.
