Actually YES! I read it as brake cylinder.

I had a Volvo S40 51 reg - bought later in the day, after the red astra hit lamp post in april 2010. So 9 years old, 130K - a 1.8 Variable valve timing engine, SPORT for £350. with an MOT 6 months later at 138K it spat it's gearbox apart, and a Volvo breaker gave me £350.

What's stopping this being sold with a full ticket?

It has failed a MoT. Only one failure is mentioned in the advert, but it does say the gearbox is good.

None of these cars seem cheap to me anyway ! As someone else said , scrap is at rock bottom so it pulls the price of bangers down .

 

A mate of mine bridged an omega v6 this week and even packed full of workshop scrap it only got 90 quid at a normally generous place
