Focus Clonking suspension

I've a clonk from the front, mostly over slightly uneven ground or just after a speed hump. Swapped the drop links for some new ones - no change. The track rod end had slight play, replaced this but still no change. The shockers aren't leaking. Am I missing something here?

It's a worn bush or balljoint somewhere for sure, but I had something similar on my Seat - clonking over bumps, and also under heavy braking. It turned out to be a dry door hinge! Covered in it spray grease and noise disappeared

Do these have a lower balljoint? Zx did this and was fixed, the meriva clonks now and im hoping new lower joints will fix it.

Shame you said droplinks, these eventually fixed the zx, its odd not having it clunk over roads after 8 months of it in various clonky forms!

Shocks. Normally first sign that the shocks are kaput on a Focus is the clunk you describe.
