My fleet of stuff, and unit full of random old cars!

Hi all, thought id upload some pics of my cars and unit for everyone to see. Been meaning to do this for a while but have never got round to it, and also whilst running the unit as a businesss full time times been lacking, and also it would of looked a little like touting for business.

Ill start with the dailies.

 

1998 Audi A4 TDI Estate, 230,000 mile workhorse and probably the best all round car ive bought.

 

 

My Partners £100 106, 1.1 petrol. We bought this as scrap approx 2.5 years ago, just needed a coil pack and all was good. (i found one rolling round the unit)

 

 

WARNING VW Content!!!!

I know not the favourite brand of Autoshite but here follows my VW collection.

 

1989 VW Caravelle

 

 

So much work gone into this one over the last 5 years it probably needs its own thread!

Full rebuild pretty much on the body, bought as accident damaged mess, this has full service history from day one!

 

1972 Beetle

 

Ive owned this since i was 17!! Major rebuild in its time, full body off in fact. Massive changes to stock in a very un autoshite way, any one loan me a pineapple?? 

 

 

 

Lastly my 1991 Golf GTI 16v, had this for years, bought as a £200 write off, beat straight, put on road, thrashed, blew up (x2) rebuilt, now currently going through a major rebuild.

 

 

Finally some unit shots, lots here to go through another time but this is scratching the surface for now.

I think a lot of people around here would agree that VW has a proven track record of delivering prime shite.

It's more that naff pseudo culture that adopted them which is frowned upon.

I had a similar vintage a6 and I too recon it was the best all rounder I've owned.

Nice motors, the Beetle looks very tasteful (and a very similar colour to one my ex used to have). Would.

Caravelle is nice too, the square lights make these I reckon - round lights always look a bit "dodgy builder".

Welcome!  Pretty Beetle. Your fleet certainly gets no complaints from me either, and +1 on being rabidly jealous of that unit.

Hi, thanks for the comments.

It was my full time business for ten years but I've recently moved into being a lecturer (motor vehicle).

The saabs long dead as it was left in a field for 10 years and rotten to the core, already been stripped and fragged sadly!

The mk2 jag was a customers car - 1 owner but in need of a full resto. The E30 is my brothers, it's a geniuine sport but now running a later 24v 2.8 engine and is nearly finished.

Under the blue cover is my other brothers mental spec Escort Cosworth.

I'm based in the Midlands, I live on the edge of Leicester.

Yeah the bugs not really autoshite! I'm quite a broad minded enthusiast but I do love my VWs.

Had quite a bit of shite over the years, range of peugeots, a few range rovers, couple of volvos inc a 940 went worth, plus many others.

I'll post some more pics soon when I find my external hard drive.

Some of the stuff that's been through the units quite mad, bike engined Honda S800, 80s Talbot Alpine, Rolls shadow, Vauxhall Sportshatch (Droop Snoot), Minis, escorts etc.
