I don't understand why they are hated so much....our HDi is a 2001 with 136k on the clock. we had it from 2003-2008, my brother had it 08-14 and we got it back last March.

 

It's never missed a beat, only had usual wear and tear stuff and still looks tidy. Massive amount of space in the back and rear seats are out in a 1 minute. 

 

Cheap and cheerful but bland, surely the epitome of autoshite.

They aren't bad, what puts people off are either a) the original ownership of school run hoodlums or the really disengaged feeling you get driving one.

oh yeh, van like to drive but ace on the motorway and why buy an mpv if you want to speed around the lanes? 

 

Great mpg, great visibilty, get tons in it, reliable and o.k to drive - it's a modern 2cv!

I should add that I've seen a car I want in Sarf Londinium so could deliver this somewhere along the way if needed.

Im actually glad to see that with the new Bingo they have finally made it a proper 7 seater. IMHO what Citroen / PSA should have done right from the start. Certainly when we replace the C8 (hopefully not needed for a couple of years yet) I think we will go back to a Bingo if we can have the option of two in the boot when needed (which as someone who merely has to look at women to get them pregnant is something we do need).

 

I still prefer the looks of the original Bingo though to the new one.
