I do actually end up keeping some cars, Normally if I'm just not feeling it, it has to go, cars that I wouldn't want to part with are the Alto, Lada, the white Proton (I'd sell the green one), Tata, 360, 305. The point in constant swapping is to end up with cars I want to keep and get rid of cars that I don't want to keep.

Make sense?

It's like a car version of Rummy, except no one including the player knows what a straight or a flush will actually look like.

I don't know about you guys but the 124 coupe has keep written all over it.

That Volvo 240 looks ace. Looks a good swap to me. I really like Volvo saloons, much nicer looking than the estates. I need another one.

Well that's what I get for not reading every post I guess. Besides, I've given up trying to keep track what cars this man has now.

FOAD, how many cars have you had at this point?

Come on guys your slipping that's not even one a month haha

It's just under a quarter of my total over 25 years. (Mental note to self buy more cars)

How fast is fuck though?

Was it a purchase or a swap this time oh and more pics please.

It's faster than Derskine's Polo GT running bike carbs... We had a race along the words thinnest road and I won (mainly because he didn't want to crash into me)...

I bought this one for £150

It's been half heartedly made into a rally car, hydraulic handbrake plumbed in, 4 point harnesses etc. I've removed the harnesses and opted for the original seatbelts. I couldn't find the rails that the front belts attach to so robbed them from a Saxo in the scrappies. The Saxo one were too short so I drilled some extra holes to make them fit.

Next to go will be the hydro handbrake, it gets in the way when driving and the rear brakes have been removed from working with the foot pedal (it only controls the front). I also need a coolant hose and a dipstick...

That looks pretty good, nice buy and a refreshing change from the usual gti get the proper steels and you have one sweet motor there.

Even with the hydro handbrake the back brakes should still work with the pedal unless it's a bodge job.

FOAD says he will give me the hydraulic handbrake if I reconnect the rear brakes to the pedal master cylinder for him (there's the hint).

Well, 205 ownership didn't last long... Sold it today for £280 and got a nice set of rallye steels in exchange. I'm going to sell the green Proton next or should I roffle it?

I like everything up until the pick-up bit. Sorry.

Don't apologise, I didn't think it would ever go down well here. Nobody was going to buy it and I swapped all the good bits onto the other Proton. Wait until it's finished, it might end up looking passable as a pickup...
