old man is retiring soon and wants rid of this (wont fit in the suitcase to bangkok :D)

not in bad nick for an import needs wheels powdercoating and using

 

130 miles between mots ffs - fresh mot two weeks ago only adv was misting to shock - more likely fork but ill check

 

had new batt and rectifier (normal honda)

 

had it i think 6-7 years?

 

been telling him to put more info and better pics in the ad :lol:

 

will speak to him tomorrow and get more and tell him to lower start price :lol:

 

bout with 14000 kms on i think and on about 23-24 ish

These are nice bikes (Super 4's?), I nearly bought one about a dozen years ago (but went for a 600 Bandit instead in the end) so test rode a few. They need revving 'cos they are only a 400 but being a JDM/Jap home market bike, were well made, go/handle/brake well and are smart looking - I think the term used was Tektro - an updated old/retro bike. It's a Honda so chances are it will be reliable. 

 

£8-900 for something tidy and fairly sorted (so little money needs spending) is a fair price to me. I way prefer the look of bikes of this type of this era than the awful 'melted plastic' look of todays overpriced m/c shite.

fork legs not too bad the light misting on the mot adv is for this fork seal but its minor - he rode it back from the mot and its been sat in the shed

 

fondled the fork leg and no oil so its not major - in the jiffy bag of spares cables pads and stuff i think theres some seals not sure tho

did dunlewy in north donegal in one go in 2011 from manc (literally) - would not hesitate to go anywhere on it - now that the reg rec has been replaced even more so - it failed at holme moss one sunday :lol: 3-4 years ago
