The dumper is a Liner Roughrider, we think from about 1946. It's got a single cylinder air-cooled crank-start Petter diesel engine and a 4-speed box. It's actually road legal - just the thing for nipping to Tescos on warm days I reckon.

I wonder if the Liner Roughrider is related to the hilariously named Liner Cumflow I saw when I was exploring a brickworks last week.

Fill scoop thing with ice cubes, go out and buy beer, ideal temperature by the time you get home?

Hell, I'd commute 10 miles a day on that dumper. Probably go at average speed in towns anyway!
