I WAS THERE!It was my tenth birthday pressie, a trip to Earls Court. Came back with loads and loads of brochures and carrier bags, paper hats, pens etc. Think my mum still uses her Citroen carrier bag to keep her belt sander in. Remember the Calibra well, was gutted I couldn't sit in it but the man on the Vauxhall stand let me look at the engine on the Cav GSi instead.

Yeah, those were the days when you could come back with bags full of brochures and stuff. I think I went to all the Motorfairs from '85 to '91, did the NEC in '86 but never again, what a kerfuffle to get to!I remember my dad taking a good look at the Yugo Sana in '89 as a potential replacement for my mum's Riva - she ended up with a Samara the following summer, God help us!

Hmm...Janet Ellis.... I would!!! Repeatedly. Always thought she was a bit on the dirty side, or was that just me? Sophie...She'd have to ask me nicely, but go on then!!
