Wanted Long Shot: Talbot Horizon Badge(s) Wanted

Probably a long shot and I will ask on the Talbot forums but I was wondering if anyone had any badges for the Talbot Horizon 1.1LS which they may have in their collection they would be willing to sell? 

 

As you may know I have Torsten's and I believe other Autoshiter's beige Talbot Horizon. For some reason, someone in the past decided to cut the Talbot Horizon badge into individual letters, why I cannot even begin to imagine! I can possibly try and piece them together a bit like a jigsaw (although I think a letter or two is missing)! However I would be happy to purchase them complete. I have checked e-bay with no luck.

 

Personally I feel it looks bare without them, I don't particularly like de-badged cars and as I am hoping to pick it up tomorrow complete with new MOT I thought it would be nice to treat it/her/him to a set of the correct badges. That is the Talbot badge on the front and the Talbot Horizon badge on the hatchback!

 

If anyone can help me out or maybe can point me in the direction of someone else who can I would be very grateful?!

Can't help with the badge but have you thought about getting one 3D printed? It'll be expensive but then so will a real one

I hadn't thought of that I may look into it if I can't find an alternative way.

Thought I had a used Talbot badge off my old Samba bonnet, just had a look in the garage but couldn't find it! Will look again tomorrow for you. Have found a small square wing badge with the Talbot round badge logo on it though?

New 'Talbot' badges are near impossible to locate new now. All the Sunbeam owners have bought them up.

Colin Hill is the man you want to contact. He supplies new and used parts for Horizons, Alpines and Solaras. He should be able to supply you with good used badges. Will send you a pm with his contact details.
