Has anyone sold a car that has a valid disk issued yet?

 

I cant find any info on procedure of cashing in on tax purchased pre-Oct.

Is it "automatic" by means of a cheque dispatched after V5 is sent off?

Do you have to fill out a V33 and return the disk? If so, is the purchaser or the current registered keeper paid out?

 

Anyone know?

Good old cheques. Declared obsolete in 1990. Still going strong.

They should issue some sort of reminder to you of when the the refund they've not given back runs out. You could stick it on the windscreen.

I'd love a round receipt like that, but I have no idea where I might get a holder for such an item to display it in my window.
