You know when you are getting old when vehicles you have owned start to appear in a museum,a brace of Hondas - 400/4 and C200 and a Moto Morini 3 1/2. All run when they were "common".

Great. I'm not 'into' bikes like I'm into cars but I love the engineering in some of these oldies especially. :)

Looks like you had a fan-bloody-tastic time there.    Pug van is a J7 I believe,  Gullwing Merc appears to be "only" a 300SL road-goer but what a pap on a normal road!    You must have scooted past not far from my neck of the woods....

The Kent County council sign relates to a youth hostel (centre d'hardelôt) where most kids from schools in Kent are sent at some time or other. I went in May 1998 when I was 10! Did you go to the Hooge Crater WW1 museum , hideously overpriced but authentic muddy sandbaggy trenches, near Ypres too?

For the jabbeke motor highway where they used to do land speed records? I drove through there on my way back to Germany and I can tell when I'm in Belgium as all you hear is

BUBUBUBUBUBUBUBUBU

over the ancient concrete motorway, when I came home last Christmas they had resurfaced one side, and when I went over in August they were doing the other, hopefully a bit smoother this Christmas!
