Ka-rry on welding

The KAK passed it's MOT today with flying colours (mostly green).

The plans I have with it is to tax it in November, drive it round for a bit, put it up for sale, get right f*cking royally messed around by about 20 bell end buyers who are 'definitely interested', then let it sit in some random street and get all covered in leaves and stuff, then have someone come and buy it and get a ferret up his vagina because I won't include tax with it (an genuine impossibility but for the love of God he can't understand he can't actually have the tax included), and then sell it for £200 to a pair of Polish lads.

I moved this around Dave's yard last night to stop his workshop being cased by travelling folk.

MEMORIES.

I bought my mum's as my first road worthy car. It was incredible at handbrake turns, was crap on fuel and lost about 25hp if you turned the air conditioning on.

I think you should get some cheap 13" tyres and try MM5's Compomotive CXs on it.

What's the betting somebody will view it but turn their nose up because it's been welded?

Sake, its got seats, a steering wheel and an engine that can be legally driven around for the next 12 months. Tell him to go on eBay and type in 'Ford Ka MOT failure' and he can have hundreds of pictorial examples of where and how Kas rust. They all seem to rot in the same place, front and back of the sills like yours was, resulting in several rows of words in the fail sheet including the dreaded words 'prescribed area' and 'excessively corroded'.

I saw this again today and it brought back my welding extravaganza.

I SOLD it BACK to the person who GAVE it to me. I estimated it was worth 250 which she was happy to pay.

I parked it over a big puddle so she couldn't examine my patches.

A 2006 Ka has just entered my life.

This is Number Three. Rust around the fuel filler? Bear/woods?
