Felly Magic Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Well hats off to Paul Potsie mcAlpine and his team for a bloody superb show at Wroxham Barns, I can see it outgrowing the venue with ease. It was choc full to the brim with 1970's motors, which I know full well would cause trouser accidents to many on here. Here is just a taster of what was there. And of course some Triggershite which is OMGFOURSAYLE for £3150 ono Uploading the rest to Flickr now, will post linky later Magnificent Rustbucket, Junkman, Skizzer and 4 others 7
Felly Magic Posted July 13, 2014 Author Posted July 13, 2014 To save clogging up the site, here's my photos from today's event, get your spill kits handy. https://www.flickr.com/photos/northernsoutherner2012/sets/72157645258173300/
trigger Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 What a sexy looking Civic. Shame it absolutely pissed it down later on, me and some friends in their Cortinas decided to go to a pub on the broads afterwards which involved going though a self manned level crossing in torrential rain. Not fun at all messing about with gates whist the road looked like a river! I'll add my photos in a few days time.
trigger Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 I did find myself questioning the kind of people I hang out with though. ProgRocker, Semi-C, Partridge and 6 others 9
ProgRocker Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 I was contemplating going to this event today. I went for a drive instead along the A47 Norwich to Great Yarmouth. I ended up following that brown Granada for a few seconds. I have the proof on dashcam!
junkyarddog Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Oh my,that brown Granada has made me quite excited

Say's the Dude who bolted without closing them leaving muggings here to get drenched lol the roads were more like rivers, needed a speed boat not a Cortina, should have seen the one we drove through on the way back, freaking tidle wave lol I did find myself questioning the kind of people I hang out with though. IMG_96721474611370.jpeg Really mr triggs, i see you photo and raise you this!
trigger Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Oh the shame! I was doing my Brain Johnson impression!
Felly Magic Posted July 13, 2014 Author Posted July 13, 2014 Thankfully none of my photos were Triggerbombed today LOL
Felly Magic Posted July 13, 2014 Author Posted July 13, 2014 Food at the site wasn't right brilliant sadly, and was bloody expensive, £14 for a jacket spud & beans, a small sandwich, a small slice of cake and 2 cans of coke. At least the ice creams weren't that bad, and were served from this Junkman 1
oman5 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I think I am going to have to buy an Allegro. (seriously.I've had marinas but never an agg.) I'm already growing a droopy '70s moustache in preparation.
trigger Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Here's my photos from the day, Me and my mates looked pretty fly for a while, I kept gagging on my tash though. Worse 70's outfit ever. This P6 was found by the owner in a skip in 2008, a block of council garages was being knocked down and they had lifted this out and put it in the skip, the current owner saw it, gave them £10, putted it out, got it home, welded it up, fixed up the engine and has been using it since as a daily driver, it still even has brick scuffs on the rear window and dents on the boot from the falling bricks but damage on the roof where it was lifted. This very tidy Maestro belonged to one of the autojumblers This is very tidy and original, until recently only one owner from new. FIN Jim Bergerac, UmBongo, anonymous user and 2 others 5
Felly Magic Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 Nice shots Triggs, I saw at one point even the Civic was wearing a tash on the front bumper! The show was seriously groovy. Roll on 2015
anonymous user Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Some lovely cars there, I'd love the Lea Francis Shooting Brake and/or the Amazon Estate
