Clashs with the Goodwood breakfast club ( - this one is early Jap so I gotta go there, really). But we might just whizz along after, to Madeira Drive for the afternoon.Prob in the old 65 Datsun ute- if you're out & about!

I should be in Brighton, I won't get down til really late though, anyone know what sort of time it goes on until?

They aim to cross the Finishing line -middle of Madeira Drive by 4pm to get a 'Finishers medal'. It can get pretty close -for the remaining stragglers. Most have cleared and gone shortly after -esp those driving home on acetylene lights!

If I get there I'll keep an eye out for another person cheapening the proceedings then  I'll have a look at Goodwood next

A little different, whizzed up to Hyde park this morning to see the start (which I missed!) Accidently parked in the "Old crock Parc Ferme", it was quite interesting to see the leaking, swearing, lump hammering on these Beasts - Wives and Girlfriends Wrapped up for artic winters shaking their heads

Strolled down to behind the start, but never made it to the "ramp" at Hyde Park corner. Mind you on my way home there few stragglers gone for a scenic detour via parliment - why not eh?

If anybody's got a spare seat let me know please - this looks FANTASTIC!

Its run on the first Sunday in November to commemorate the repealing of the Red Flag Act in 1904.To that date you needed someone in front of the car -on foot, waving a red flag to warn horseman, peds etc in advance...Old bike run is at the beginning of March -thats no warmer!
