OBD 2 code reader in my area?

My area being Rainham, Essex and surrounds.

It's for my P plate Volvo V70 2.5 20 valve.

I've had a dash light (check engine, a red triangle with green inside with open bonnet symbol) on since I've had the car.

The car runs great, starts first time and idles evenly.

I'd just like to know what code a reader would throw up.

Anybody?

Ta people.

 

p.s. If anyone's got a cheap OBD 2 reader they want shot of, give me a shout please.

If you have an Android (not Apple iPhone) smartphone, works wirelessly over the bluetooth I got one of these and it works great with Torque(free) downloaded from Google for nowt:

Cheap and cheerful, but the one I got works just fine. Price of a couple beers and it's yours to keep. Torque will clear stored and persistent codes also.

I'm trying to post a link to ebay but for some reason it wont let me, so search for D900 obd2, you want the 2014 version, as I assume it'll have more coverage than my 2013 one, it's just under 19 quid delivered, and mine has been absolutely fantastic. It does live data readouts too

Yeah, the port is under the centre console lift up armrest, clearly marked OBD 11
