RichardMoss Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 10 years ago I had a second generation Plymouth (Chrysler) Grand Voyager 3.3L - V6, 4 speed auto, cruise, twin aircon, great visibility, 7 seats and a very comfortable ride. 500 miles in a day was easily manageable, especially after I fitted a telly and VHS player to keep the kids amused. Also very reliable and easy to work on (apart from rear bank spark plug changes and serpentine belt replacement) I now have a 4th generation one which is even more brilliant thanks to better seats and better aircon. The only real downside is the fuel consumption but at 28p/l I can live with that. I much prefer it to my Jag S-type for long trips
DVee8 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 What about one of these? They come in V6 flavor don't they A quick look at the auto traderhttp://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201405094052169/sort/default/usedcars/model/vel_satis/postcode/dh23hx/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/radius/1501/page/1/fuel-type/petrol/make/renault?logcode=p
254575 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 ive owned a sintra v6 for 2 years now, and it never wanted for anything, it has had dogs abuse as a van, a tow car, running the kids about. and has a lot of grunt (200hp) the hardest thing about owning one, is trying to explain to people what it is. most people assume it is a zafira! look at the size difference! i know sintra has a bad rap, but for the 900quid i bought it for, i've have no complaints

What do you expect?) and the fact they try to kill you in a crash. Don't crash it into a deformable barrier at 40mph, and you'll be fine.

forddeliveryboy Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Indeed, the only safe shite is Volvo-Shite I so hope that's tongue deeply, deeply embedded in cheek.
twosmoke300 Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Yeh , some Saab owners may quibble about that too.
