any one know were its located on a 2003 2.0 hdi??

 

dammed i can find the bloody thing

 

steering started to feel heavy and like it locking not working... changed pump ... no different... changed the rack... no difference... and now searching this great site theres mention of pressure switch... looked on pipe from underneath to rack and cant see nowt... there seems to pipes going behind the front bumper...

Its a 2003 2.0 hdi...

Help before it becomes a beacon ontop of a hill burning..!!

laid underneath followed pipes to rack and found nothing

I'm pretty sure that our 806 HDI doesn't have a sensor.

 

I would say buy a parts database CD on ebay and look at the exploded diagrams on there.

What engine is it?

 

We did a pipe on a 1.6 hdi today and that had a pipe under the front bumper for cooling, but on the earlier ones, it's front of the engine bay behind the rad IIRC.

Not all cars have them. Usually on the smaller engined stuff .

well turns out was a seizing steering knuckle..
