overrun Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Rusty gear lever and handbrake still in Fiat, FFS. Edd China managed to refit the front seats without issue...
pompei Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I've never seen this programme before. She Who Cracks The Whip spotted it was on and about a Fiat 500, so it became essential viewing... I have to say that I don't think I'll be watching next week (always assuming another programme has been commissioned)
overrun Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 I preferred the previous series, when they were bare metalling bodywork with 40 grit DA's and some flid in bright jeans turned up and 'valued' it. #DylanMiles "Relax, Bernie. Relax."
stuboy Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 t never changed the clutch whilst the engine was out. Utter cowboys.2k on 6bhp.... clutch.. £74.31 ebay overrun 1
trigger Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Edd China managed to refit the front seats without issue...Yes but he also painted over those SS badges which seemed a bit bodgey to me. overrun 1
overrun Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Yes but he also painted over those SS badges which seemed a bit bodgey to me.Was that not Raj? I loved the fake Italian bloke who sold Mike the engine, in that episode. "BELLA!'
In The Pit Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 I'm sure the two gents are quite decent when not exhibiting their abysmal acting skills, or at least, I hope so.I'm sure they are too, to be fair they both like their old cars and Mario in particular seems to have a real love of all classic cars. They are obviously told how to play out the show by the producer and these stunts are purely added to attract the average Top Gear viewer as they use a similar style on their production.
The Moog Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 There was a disclaimer i saw on the show saying that the cars were restored but scenes have been included to add drama.
overrun Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Yes but he also painted over those SS badges which seemed a bit bodgey to me.I hadn't seen the Camaro ep, when I first replied. 'SS' makes more sense to me, now. trigger 1
