Poojoe 206 foar sayl,54 reg not barn find, just fooked

I've finally grown a spine (well Mrs_Outlaw has) and stepson's 206 LX has got to go.

 

It's been parked down my garden since mid July last year, looking sorry for itself, and taking up space.

 

It used another car to brake with, so the front end is stoved in, both airbags have gone off.

 

Wasn't in particularly good nick pre-biffage, had done 80k+ IIRC. The engine did run when parked up, but won't now, prolly because the battery is bollocksed, and I can't get the bonnet open to charge or check it.

 

The seats are growing fur coats, and at the last check it smelt a bit of dog.

 

I'm not really selling this am I? Oh, 4 good tyres.......

 

Cartakeback have offered £130, so offers around that will be nice. Anything over £100 will be considered.

 

I'll take photos if anyone is remotely interested.

 

Car is in RM16, Grays Essex.

What engine does it have? Wuvs is after a mot0r for his LNA.

I doubt a 206 has anything of much use to a 104. An early 205 might do.

A 1360 TU is a 1360 TU, is it not?

Yep, it's the 1360cc one; it was running ok before the "incident". And at the end of the day, you don't have to worry about scratching the paint, get the bleeder out with a paddy's bike, and a length of rope.

Do you reckon a carb manifold would fit? Shall I fire up the angle grinder? [You don't need a license for one, I checked.)

No it won't, the port spacing is different and it'll almost certainly be a multipoint injection so will have injector holes in the head. I'm not too sure if the 206 is iron or Ali block either.

 

Also if yours is a pre 93 car, the gearbox bellhousings are different too.

Yeah, I didn't read the post properly, I've been knackered for the past three days, saw '1360' in my tired scan and assumed Wuvs was after a TU, ignoring the fact he has an LNA which would be an X - suitcase.
