Oi srad34, tell us more about the Jag ... I remember chatting with Billy about the XK's  last year as they were getting close to shiter budget

The fastest accelerating car I've owned was a Dutton Phaeton fitted with a Lotus Twin Cam built onto x-flow block so was about 1722cc. Useless, but amazing buzz to blast through the gears.

Quickest daily driver a 1992 LT1 300bhp Corvette, owned for 5+ years, fab toy.

I also ran BMW 540i for 10 years, almost as fast as the 'vet but more costly to run! Class act though.

Current quickish wheels BMW Z3 2.8, more brisk than fast tho.

Z a bit mainstream as a toy after the Corvette so half heartedly looking out for old TVR......Seen here in winter clothes, about this time of year the hard top comes off and it get black 17" OZ wheels fitted for posing duties!

Turbo, innit.

Performance?  Stopping the electric windows from going up and down randomly even with the keys out, yeah, that was a fugging performance.

The Golf is sporty too, if your sport of choice is fishing - fishing bits of rust out of the bottom of the fuel tank with a magnet, that is.

My old Primera eGT and GT were both quick cars

The Jag S-type R was a different type of fast there was no stopping its acceleration,it would just pull and pull till i ran out of road or balls. The fuel gauge went down as fast as the rev counter went up,great fun though.
