Guest Breadvan72 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 This is by no means a GTi, despite the wheels. It only has about 60 horses, if that. It is moderately torquey, and it chugs along well enough, and is fun on country roads, but you have to stir the gearstick on motorways if you want to pass lorries and such.
ERBS Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 will try footman on monday and let you know how i get on, by rights it should be cheaper than a gti, but as you know with insurance companies its scientifically made up the quotes
Guest Breadvan72 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Coolio, good luck with "computer says WTF". It would be top autoshiting kudos to rock up on here and almost immediately to purchase a Pug 205 chuggatron. I wandered in here one day from Pistonheads to ask about bits of knackered old Lancias, and have stayed and lerved it ever since, but it took me a while before I actually bought any chod from any of the assorted maniacs who hang out here. I have now bought three cars via this site and have not regretted any of the purchases. This Pug has some good AS provenance, as I bought it from a member of the Forum a little under a year ago, and it's always fun if the cars can do the rounds amongst like minded chod botherers.
