I was coming through our neck of the woods at Crowle, then Aston Rowant. Both heavily flooded, I just stuck the xm in high and very bumpily drove through! And made a fiat 500 nearly drown as she fucked me off by shouting at me to get out of the way, whilst I was parked with 8 other vehicles behind me waiting for her to wobble through... I just started moving forward as she shouted at me, and forced her over into the deep bit.

Had a Rover 25 in today with a misfire after driving through a puddle. The spark plug tubes were full !!

Good going considering its the later k series with the coil packs and the big plastic cover over the lot.

Were the Mini and 1100 really as bad as the old hands make them out to be in wet weather? The radiator being at the side and just a plastic cover for the front, I understand they used to conk out in severe wet weather.

I hooned along from the M40 via Tetsworth and Postcombe in the Beta today - all pretty dry.     Stopped at Postcombe for comedy jet wash with the top down as too feckin idle to put it up, so still got to drive home with wet arse.
