Thought I should try and get out today and pap some of the shite round here, some of cars I knew of and some I found on my journey today. Sorry for some fotoskilz but I tried to take all the pics as descretely as possible from inside the car.

 

First this granny 2.0 L owned by local giffer from almost new. Had a chat with him down the local trye centre last year when this had new boots all round.

Spotted the festa, not sure I have seen it before just round the corner from my drum

Old merc, this guy had 3 of these until recently

Seen this before but not papped.  A VDP Efi (not vitesse)

One I am pretty sure is a P6 3500 in tobacco leaf, not sure about the other but almost certain its old and earns shite points, will pass by there again soon mr merc.

Yes, it's a Corolla. But if I'm not much mistaken, it's a 4wd wagon, which was a Corolla Tercel, at lleast in Europe.

Judging by the side window on that CF, I'd say it was a 1970's love nest conversion.

 

Tinted side glass, animal print interior with a big bed and drinks cabinet and about 30odd 2inch diameter gauges on the dash to measure very random things

I'm also local when I'm not at university! Great spots there, most are familiar to me. There's a P6 under the cover next to the Wolseley 1500. Driven past the Escort in Westcliff but never managed to get a picture, same with the SD1 and MK2 Grandad, I think there's an old MK2 Transit opposite there as well. The Toyota is an old spot of mine, here:

Hi Dicky - Ah yes we spoke last year I believe? about the shite in Rochford, fair bit about and I plan to go out again maybe next weekend and snap some, also will try Hockley and possibly central Southend which must bear a fair bit of shite, plus all those side roads in Westcliff must be great spotting territory, but they are all laiden with vicious speed humps.

Skoze Towers is just off of Banyard - there's some seriously prime shite around there, in addition to my own.

Ah right yeah I know Banyard, but didnt go down there yesterday just had a quick nosey down Holt farm way and saw the CF. I live right in Rochford by the square (which often has shite parked in it)

I'm in Wakering when I'm not at university, it would be great to meet some other local 'shiters! As mentioned, Westcliff is great for tat and there's a surprising amount in Leigh and Benfleet as well. Hockley/Rochford also good for spotting, in fact the whole area is crammed with interesting cars!

I miss the SD1 but its now with a collector north of the border, I have a pic somewhere of it being collected and loaded onto a big transporter on the Ashingdon Rd one night lol!

I do sometimes pop over to Wakering, infact way way back in 1988 my dads old Rover 2600 was written off in Wakering high street when a MK2 Escort van pulled out of North Street.

Mucking Hall Road in Barling Magna. There's a dusty MG 1100 in a barn down the private road in the background of the photo, but be warned if you go to take pictures the locals aren't very friendly!
