Shite on tv - metro 6r4 content

Opening credits have just rolled on a prog on bbc2 - on the theme of racing/ speed. At some point someone ( not tony pond sadly) is lobbing a Metro 6r4 round a track.

I take it it was Idris Elba: King of Speed... Some nice shots and interesting cars but the research behind it was clearly shat, there seemed to be quite a lot of confusion about the Mini and the Mini Metro.

I enjoyed it, it's a two part program. It was easily one of the best things on TV over Xmas.

In the European programme it was good to see see some faces from the past, especially Ari Vatenen, a fine driver but even better human being, a very friendly humble man.

Ari Vatanen came a cross as a very cool guy. I was trying to figure out if they program was made for america, which is why they played dumb about the 6R4. I enjoyed it either way.
