dangerousdave Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 hi all thught id better introduce myself im dave from Sheffield was told about this site by sheffieldcortinacentre and glad I joined my car history goes like this :- 1984 mini 25 nothing but trouble and fell to bits :- scrapped 1988 mini jet black was better but still not great :- sold due to been offered a tax free mini 1972 mini 1000 best mini I had looked a shed painted in cheapo matt black with rust spots and brown vinyl interior but running an mg metro 1.3 engine :- sold to a friend 1972 ford escort mk1 2 door 1300 xl always remembered my dad having one when I was younger found this one totally original bought from 2nd owner for £450 :- sold because I was bored and id got another car before prices went stupid 1972 ford Cortina mk3 4 door gt :- still own will never sell 1992 ford escort bought as cheap winter car :- stolen 1994 ford fiesta bought cheap to replace stolen escort :-sold to a friend 1983 mg metro bought from someone who was going to scrap it :-stolen and burnt out 1990 vw polo bought off a friend so I could fully restore Cortina :- sold as I had itchy feet for a new winter car 1990 range rover vogue se always wanted one since they were new then saw them in my price bracket so cut a long story short found the one ve got 3.9 litre petrol on lpg cheap to run great winter car will never sell Lankytim, Shep Shepherd, Craig the Princess and 1 other 4
