Skizzer's SD1: Tomorrow's Car, Yesterday. Fixerations, with mixed results

Hmph. Back on page 5 (August 2015) I replaced the clutch master and slave cylinders; they appear to have failed again.

The pedal just goes to the floor. I looked in the master cylinder reservoir and it was empty, which surprised me as there was no obvious puddle.

I’ve now put some more DOT4 in and bled it with my Eezibleed, but there’s no improvement. ....

Stupid question but might there be a leak elsewhere in the system?

My question is how can you have a building that good and not have cars crammed, tetris style, into every available square inch of space?

Whoops... You may want to check your brake servo, some Rover designs are prone to filling up with brake fluid.

liked for the handsome vehicle and great looking barn rather than FTP

check footwell behind carpet. likely that fluid has drained past master seal and into car

clutch not brake, but a valid point for brakes. servo ends up with so much brake fluid in it that the engine sucks it into the inlet and causes much white smoke of false omghgf despair

clutch not brake

Erm... I must pay more attention !

Cos this f***er is stuck in the doorway!

There is more tat behind it - you can maybe make out a Lancia peeping into shot. The space next to the Rover, where I took the photo from, is supposed to have an XJ-S in it, but that’s away being fixed (again).

Not stupid at all! Probably. I suspect...
