That's ace! And you've owned it since 1985! I didn't even know they sold them over there.

yes, very few were sold in italy , due to an agreement with fiat ( fiat didn't  promote 132 sedan in UK and British Leyland didn't  push it in italy with the princess.....) a ...gentleman's agreement..... but fortunately i was lucky enough to keep one of the 20-30 sold in italia...... and i still like it ( engine has torque) though it was rated as n. 5 in ugliest car of the world contest !!!!!!!

I meant to ask when I first saw the video and forgot entirely, are those wheel trims original?  I have never seen another Princess with a set and they look ace.

YES,,NOT ORIGINAL WHEEL RIMS....i bought them at the junkyard , and they come from a BMW......they look nice don't they ? as a matter of fact they stole me one !!! must get a replacement

I have amended your first post as Spambots will pick up your e-mail address and plague you night and day with phishing/spam/scam e-mails. If you want it changing back just let me know please, cheers.

You haven't done anything wrong as such, it's just if you put your email address on the internet then it gets picked up by all sorts of spammers and scammers, so ideally you're best off asking people to private message you or spacing your e-mail address out. I usually find for example something like 'PeterJones1991 atyahoo dotocdotuk' is better than the correct way it should be typed out.

I was making the remark regarding a supply of new displacers in the UK.  There are no new displacers being made, nor any plans to, so we have to rely on finding second hand or NOS parts, which is getting increasingly difficult.
