I agree £5 is strong money and these can be hard to shift. Personally at 5 they would need to be mint unless uber rare. I did once get a rover 820 for 10p never opened. Clearly didn't need it but that's the way of it!!

most haynes are also available used on Amazon for 1p plus postage.

I imagine most of them outnumber the surviving cars by some massive ratio, but you get the odd one sell for money.  Sold a Midget one for £11.50 + post recently.

Why are Haynes manuals so cheap/undervalued/not wanted?

Is it because they are shite, or simply that so much information is now available on t'internet?

There are some exceptions - I had to pay about £13 for the 944 and Volvo ones. Anything pre about 1995 seems worthless since there are way more manuals than cars. Still, made collecting one for every car I've owned pretty easy
