kinkersaab Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Would anyone be interested in a 98 v70 r estate manual lpg in that gold colour?Possibly coming back as a trade in, loads and loads of history. 200k 6 months mot and a few months tax. Guy as had it since 70k and has now gone to an auto. He was a very fussy perfectionist and volunteered that the only issue is the lpg needs a service as it drops out occasionally. Drives perfectly on petrol. I am expecting a HUGE file of everything ever spent on it to be with it. £800 ish? Off to see it today.
KruJoe Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 That's bargainous. For those who don't know, the V70'R' is the rapid one.

Lord Sterling Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Nah, i bid but bid too low. It landed up heading to brum to volvo breaker i believe. Was it headed to Brum itself or a breaker based in Henley-in-Arden?

DSdriver Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 That's bargainous. For those who don't know, the V70'R' is the rapid one. I thought the R stood for "raped by the insurance premium"
Pete-M Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 They're good fun the R ones. Where the standard T5 is good but irritatingly never quite good enough the R is closer to being very good. Quicker, better brakes, less flobbery suspension and the shell is slightly stiffer so the first time you chuck it down a decent rural A or B Road the shell doesn't feel like it's hinged around the front bulkhead. In truth, the R is the only one to have.
