Negative Creep Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 What on earth id going on with that rear wheel/arch combo?
AXrescuer Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Apart from the striping, I quite like that!
seth Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Horendous! Listed as a '48 presumably for pre '49 Street Rod status though it can't really be that early
Milford Cubicle Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Apart from the striping, I quite like that! Even the cheapo alloys?
fotorabia Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 now thats one phat Auntie..i like her skirts low..and right about that 1948 bull..it aint gotta cyclops as it..mind u neither has this..http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 243081.htm
Mr_Bo11ox Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 That is unbelievably hideous, an object lesson in absent minded 'doing up' of old cars. How on earth did he choose these wheels? They look like the very cheapest of motorworld's offerings. The red one's canny nice like.
fotorabia Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 i loved Hemmings sales journal when i was in the States 1988..but realised that all the ol shites getting rather expensive aving scanned their classifieds..would u pay $20k for cheap rebodied Mustang with crap wheels..
Mr Lobster Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 First one is hideous, can't imagine what went through the mind of its creator. Red one is much better however.
mk2_craig Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Previously registered in Britain - or just a replacement bootlid?
fotorabia Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 you had to have overseas funds in order to import cars from the UK hence tonnes of stuff still have these old style back plates on them..only the Aussie/NZ assembled marques naturally dont have them..and non original plates doesnt affect values here..tho no rego is a definite deterent..
VWPowered Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Here's one from closer to home. now thats sweet, any specs
AXrescuer Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Apart from the striping, I quite like that! Even the cheapo alloys?Yeah, I don't know why, it's certainly not the sort of thing that would normally stir any interest in me!
outlaw118 Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 the red one is SMART!! Purple one....the person who did that should be disembowelled with a rusty butter knife.
