MGF Swapsies maybe? Whaddya reckon?

So, selling isn't happening. You've seen piccies of the car. Just a tad over 50k on the clock, silver with leather interior. MOT till Valentine's Day, on SORN. Drives great, no coolant leaks or loss. The broken rear screen has now been sorted. 

 

Swap for something interesting. The concept of interesting is a fluid one I know but just wondering at present what people would realistically offer at the moment. MOT a must.

MGF's are worth nothing at the moment, but mine has just earned "I'd rather tuck it away than take 300 quid for it" status. The rate they are being crushed at it'll be a rare motor in a couple of years.

I have always fancied an F and that looks great - just seen on your other post - sadly I have only ever had bad luck with silver cars so have vowed not to buy another - daft I know!  Good luck with swaps etc

Sounds a lovely car, I would off snapped your hand off for the MG but I already have a cabriolet sitting in the garage tucked up for winter and my winter shed A4 isn't exactly what I would call interesting.

 

It really does look like a steal for someone.

Meh! I'm all confused. I won't sell it for peanuts and a swap seems more in keeping with AS sensibilities but it is a bloody lovely car.

Can't you store it till next spring as you really will regret selling a nice low mileage example for peanuts.

 

That's what I do I have two motors one for the winter months and one for the summer, six months tax on each and transfer the insurance over when needed so it doesn't cost anymore running two cars as your doing half the mileage on each so less wear and tear.

I am already bruised from the loss of the taxi, don't need more. I guess it makes sense. It really is that nice.
