Cheap motor required

A good mate of mine has been having a few car troubles of late and needs a cheap motor.

What's required has to have some T&T and be big enough for his Mrs with a sprog, pram and other assorted crap that wimmin with kids cart around. Oh and for some reason the car can't be green, she doesn't do green cars ... wimmin

Budget is £400 max, but he also has a relatively tidy 3 door 998cc metro with full MOT that could be used for a deal.

Somewhere not a million miles from Lincolnshire would also be handy.

That'd be me!

So introduce yourself Nate ... have you still got the broken Allegro?

Yep...still got a poorly allegro 1300 super.

I am faithfully assured it will be road legal by October...

I have a low mileage, 5-door, 1400cc 1997 Peugeot 306 in that price bracket. And it's blue not green. But I'm in Herts, so not mega convenient for Lincs.

I would suggest my Rover Vitesse for £300 so the family can travel in style, but it's green and in London.  Boot is massive though so could easily swallow kid stuff.
