Corolla 1.6 CD Saloon for Sale

Hi all,

My ex Corolla is probably getting passed back to me in the next week or so for disposal. It's been absolutely reliable in it's passed owners term, and was indeed in my own. Sadly it's fallen on somewhat hard times and needs some work now. The back box is blowing, and the present owner reversed it into a tree, which has dented the bumper, back panel and boot lid. It's got about a weeks MOT left on it, and I think a month or so's Tax. It will also need a bloody good clean, as I don't think the present owner has washed it since she got it.

 

If anyone is interested let me know or it will be getting weighed in soonish as I'm at my capacity with vehicles at the moment.

 

I think there are some photos of it floating around on here - pre dent.

 

It's currently located in Harrogate, and  this price will be around £100

I'd love this but I have been to Harrogate three times in the past six months to buy cars and it took ages to get there and get back.

I can verify that Toyotas are the most reliable car you can buy, especially the 80's/90's ones.

Well this went yesterday, the scrapyard gave my mate £130 for it, which, considering between us we spent £300 buying it originally, and absolutely nothing else bar the annual MOT test, tax and insurance is pretty good value over a near 30 month period. The yard owner will be sending it for export rather than to the frag, so the conciliation - as I hate scrapping useable vehicles - is that it'll live on somewhere!

That reminds me, tomorrow is D-day for the 406. Sadly no export or even oval use for that, I reckon it'll get lifted off by a grab the other end, de-polluted then fragged.

I thought petrol 406's were quite a good export prospect

Sadly it seems not. Warren T Claim's mate didn't want it, I think it's all to do with silver top engines or something. Anyhow CartakeBack are coming, so we'll see how they do ref. promises made etc.
