1. The high-roofed version of a van available in 1986 based on a car later used as a base for the car in Q5.

2. Sold between 1991 and 1993 with a retail price of £7700, just over 1000 of these were sold.

3. Italian saloon built between 1984 and 1987 which could be ordered with a glove box briefcase.

4. The last car ever to wear the manufacturer's badge, closely based on a Japanese saloon.

5. Based on the same car as the van in Q1, rapidly disappearing from UK roads

6. Another one which was the last car to wear the manufacturer's badge with the last one being produced on 11th September 1975 after only 6 months in production.

7. This one was sold in the UK from 2000-2003, relatively cheap but sold in very low numbers and now a rare sight, only one trim option available with a 3.0V6

8. One autoshiter bought one of these in May 2012 and subsequently offered it up for sale, now a very rare sight in the UK, badged as a Rover in Australia.

9. Warran T Claim rescued one of these from a scrapyard, the convertible version was one of the cheapest open-top cars in the world when new

10. Last car from this manufacturer to carry the model name, widely derided for its unusual, US-influenced styling

I've tried (and probably failed) to make some of these a little bit harder to Google search.  I'll produce the answers at some point, the prize for the 1st full set of correct answers is...umm...setting the next 10 questions?

Have fun.

Not that tricky 1 or 2 of you have scored 3/5 thus far.

As for Q5, I'm going to rephrase 'Sports Coupe' as 4 seater sporty hatchback as this may be confusing people.

Hmm, I want to say Saab 900 in mind of the blackout dash but it's probably not.  Something Japanese?  Only other one that might have something that sophisticated would be a Mitsubishi 3000GT but that's early nineties so I'll have to pass on that one.

Nope its not a Lotus. Basically when you pushed the throttle pedal to the floor it would push a button which would do the following

1-shut off the air con (where fitted)

2-quick sweep of the front wipers

3-shut off the HRW and Mirrors (if on)

It was notoriously unreliable and was soon removed from the spec.

Right then answer time

1. This car has come consistently in the top three for European CoTY seven times. Its the VW Golf, with the MK3 and MK7 actually winning the award

2. What nearly became the Gingo? Panda 2nd Gen, Model 169

3.What BL car featured in the Crossroads titles? MG Maestro 1600

4. What was unusual about the Durashift Transmission on the 2004MY Transit van? No stick, it was a push button transmission.

5. What 1980s Sports Coupe (or 4 seater hot hatch) would shut off various electrical items (and sometimes would engage others) when you 'floored' the throttle to overtake? Seems to have stumped a fair few people, it was the Volvo 480
