vectra estate tailgate glass.

Right i have fetched the previously mentioned Vectra! After investigating a rattle on the back end if the car i found the tailgate glass is practically resting on the tailgate! Cant seem to see how the glass should be. I can get the rubber tight in but the glass still moves. Should it be bonded in?? The car is goin for sale soon as i wont see it scrapped! Mrs wont allow another car either! Any takers?!

I believe all the Vectra rear screens are bonded.

Looks like ill have to get it re fitted then! Is itva diy job? I would have thought so.

You could Tigerseal /Sikaflex it in place if its already loose. Pretty sure a local automatove glass company would oblige for a few quid though..

Too good to scrap! Ill have a ring round tomorrow and price up auto glass companies
