well folks its coming up to that time of year again where i get another year older, the mrs as per usual didn't know what to get me, she remembered i wanted to get on 2 wheels, so she was trawling the internet seeing what was for sale, the good thing is that she knows me too well so she knows that id want something a bit older, no less than a 600cc, a bit sporty and something i could have fun tinkering with, she found the perfect one she told me to get transport with a towbar sorted so we could tow her granddads trailer as we were picking my 1995 RF600r that she bought me for my birthday, up in a couple of days, a very good friend accepted the request.

fast forward to Saturday morning, we picked the trailer up

Looks like a good buy - not sure about the colour of the can though!

Any reason why you went for the 600 instead of the 900? The 900 is a cracking bike.

i have the same feeling about the can colour thats why its going lol as for why the 600 to the 900 its going to be my 1st legal on road bike so it had to be the smaller engine for insurance, oh and as with most things on autoshite it was an impulse buy

I Don't think I can classic insure it properly yet as its only 18 year old, I had thought about it but not got a quote on classic just a regular policy, will definitely be worth a try

We used to have an RF900 at the W.T.C motorcycle school as an instructors bike. A comfy ride and the built in sausage roll holder in the fairing was useful.

Cheers hairnet but they won't cover with me when passed due to not having a bike licence for over a year

I was mega impressed with the small storage compartment, I can't say anything about comfy ride as I havnt ridden it properly yet due to legal restriction lol but when I test rode it round the private ground when it was collected it seemed nice and smooth
